About Me

A quick snapshot of who I am and what I care about.

I’m all about empowerment, for myself and others — living my best life and inspiring others to do the same, by helping others release trauma from their emotional bodies, reclaim power, and engage in professional, creative and entrepreneurial pursuits that are in alignment with their core values and principles.

To that end, I’m a journalist/author and an actress, as well as a dance & yoga teacher, spiritual therapist, and engaged community member. I’m also the founder of an independent media endevor on Substack, inter-TECH-ion.

In terms of journalism, AI is doing away with original thought & replacing original writing. How do you combat that? With authenticity and integrity. By focusing on facts, not opinions. This has always been my mission as a journalist, and a human, and always will be.

In terms of acting, I’m a Meisner-trained actress. I learned the Meisner technique, from Pamela Peak, a former actress, screenwriter and Emmy-nominated filmmaker.

I’m actively engaged in my community as a healer. I teach yoga and JourneyDance™ — a sacred, spiritual form of dance designed to eliminate trauma from the emotional body and reclaim power. I’m also part of a responder team of healers that was created to help victims of natural disasters.

I experienced a spiritual awakening after a successful heart procedure in 2007, when I had to say Yes to the procedure, before the electrocardiologist even knew if he could fix it. After the successful heart procedure, I took classes to become a licensed spiritual therapist. So, I could pay it forward and help others. Since spiritual therapists, aligned with the Science of Mind philosophy (Ernest Holmes),  helped me in the months up to and including the heart procedure. I recently renewed my spiritual therapist license at the Agape International Spiritual Center.

As a spiritual therapist, I strive to change the world through frequency, not force. Frequency is vibration. And the highest vibration is love. Will you join me?
